Track Your Stimulus Payment with IRS Tool

Americans will soon be able to track their incoming IRS Economic Impact Payments with a tool developed by the IRS. This tool will also guide U.S. Citizens through a process to submit their bank information if they previously had not elected direct deposit with their taxes. 

Please be aware of scams and keep in mind that the IRS will not contact you personally to collect any bank information, nor will they call you, email, or mail you to request this information. 

The IRS expects that tens of millions of Americans will have their Impact Payment deposited by Wednesday, April 15th. This payment will be automatically deposited into accounts of eligible Americans who filed taxes in 2019 or 2018. Dort Financial will process your payment on the day that it is received.

The “Get My Payment” FREE app will be available this week from the Internal Revenue Service.  This app will allow Amercians to both submit bank information to get the Impact Payment deposited, and will also serve as an app to allow Americans to track their payment. 

Americans who did not not file taxes in 2018 or 2019 are encouraged to use the “Non-Filers Enter Payment Here” web portal to submit bank account information. 

No matter how you receive your payment, a letter will be mailed to your address on file approximately 15 days after you receive your payment to confirm it was sent.
