Independence Day Celebrations
Dort Financial Credit Union is a sponsor of two Independence Day celebrations this year! The Fenton Freedom Festival will take place on Monday, July 4th, and will feature a parade, 5K race, craft show, fireworks, and more fun for the whole family! For more information click here .
Although not on Independence Day, the Lapeer Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their fireworks show on Friday, July 8th, from the Rolland-Warner campus of Mott Community College in Lapeer. Those in attendance will be able to park in the campus parking lot, where a variety of food vendors will be available.
Bastille Day Race
Dort Financial continues to be a sponsor Habitat for Humanity’s Bastille Day Race, on July 9th. For more information about the Fenton race and festivities, click here.
Cars 108 Roofsit in benefit of Whaley Children’s Center
The Cars 108 Roofsit is considered one of the charity organizations largest fundraisers for the year! Join community members in raising awareness for Whaley’s by donating at the McDonald’s on South Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc, while CEO, Mindy Williams, and members of the Cars 108 broadcasting team, live on the roof of the restaurant July 13th– 15th in the name of collecting funds for Whaley Children’s Center. Dort Financial will also have a presence during the three-day event and will be collecting donations.
Back to the Bricks, Main Event Week
Thousands of car enthusiasts will descend upon the streets of Flint for our community’s largest car event: Back to the Bricks. As a premier sponsor of Back to the Bricks, Dort Financial will be taking part in celebrations the week of August 15th– 20th!
