Local Credit Union Earns Recognition for Digital Campaign

Dort Financial Credit Union earned a national marketing award recently from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) for its digital marketing efforts in 2022.

The local financial institution received a diamond award from CUNA at the annual Marketing and Business Development Conference for the digital marketing campaign of its certificate special late last year.

Diamond awards are presented through one of the most prestigious competitions for credit union marketers nationwide. The competition recognizes and rewards creative excellence and outstanding results, according to CUNA.

“It is truly an honor for us to receive the recognition among our peers nationwide,” Dort Financial Vice President of Strategic Growth, Adam Koishor said. “It really speaks highly of the great marketing team we have here at Dort.”

CUNA accepts over 1,000 entries in over 30 categories annually from credit unions competing for the prestigious awards.

Dort Financial Credit Union offered a 5% APY certificate special in fourth quarter of last year. The credit union used multiple digital platforms to advertise the special, including Facebook and Instagram ads, Google ads, streaming television, and social media posts.

The creative concept used the tagline, “You’re Gonna Need a Bigger Piggy Bank” to promote the special, Koishor added.

“We were extremely proud of the concept for the promotion,” he noted. “It is nice to receive the diamond award for the work we did advertising it on digital channels. It is an important part of strategy because the digital space is truly where consumers spend their time. It was important for us to get this offer in front of the people who were looking for the best rate for their money.”
