January 2024 Community Events
The New Year serves as a season of new and beginnings. As a credit union, we are very excited to begin 2024, as we have many plans and exciting happenings throughout the year. In the coming months, we will also be expanding our community efforts in Florida to align the Flagler Credit Union community with our own community efforts in Michigan. We are looking forward to sharing these updates with you as we gear up for a brand new year.
Join the Flint Firebirds in the Fight to End Hunger!
The Flint Firebirds will be collecting non-perishable food donations in exchange for free admission to their January 5th and 6th matchups at the Dort Financial Center. Fans can donate five food items to qualify for a free ticket. Items can be dropped off at the Dort Financial Center during business hours, in the days leading up to the events. Dort Financial Credit Union is a proud sponsor of this event, and we encourage all members to commit to end hunger in our communities.
Harry Awdish Memorial Student Scholarship Now Open for Applications!
The credit union movement was founded on the philosophy of “People Helping People”. In keeping with our philosophy, Dort Financial Credit Union’s student scholarship program was established to help our members achieve their higher educational goals. We are offering fifteen (15) $2,000 scholarships this year to graduating high school seniors or older students seeking to further their education after high school.
