April 14th McLaren Flint Foundation’s “A Starry Night of Hope”
This event is being hailed as a girl’s night in to support the McLaren Flint Hospitality House. The Hospitality House is a convenient, low-cost place for patients and families who receive care at McLaren. The home-away-from-home provides support and resources to patients and their families. April 21st The Refuge Homeless Shelter of Lapeer Benefit Dinner
The Refuge Homeless Shelter of Lapeer will be holding their annual benefit dinner to raise funds for their facility. The shelter assists people by providing emergency housing, food, housing, transition services, job search transportation, educational and vocational training, and basic life skills education. April 21st Voices for Children’s Cooking with Chiefs Sous Chef
Join H.A.P and local Police & Fire Chiefs to support Voices for Children Advocacy Center at Genesys Banquet & Conference Center, Friday, April 21, 5:00 to 8:00 PM, for an evening of friendly competition between the chiefs, and delicious food prepared by local businesses across Genesee County – all in support of child abuse survivors on their journey to healing & justice. April 23rd The Humane Society of Genesee County’s Paws on Parade Brunch
The Genesee County Humane Society is once again hosting their annual Paws on Parade Brunch. Community members may attend this charity event, with proceeds benefitting the shelter. For more information please visit here.
